hello to the readers
how do you do?
i'm writing this poem
to provide amusement to you
i'm not sure you exist
or just live in my head
it's a puzzle i’ll ponder
till the day i am dead
but whether you're real
or a figment of mind
i know you are reading
along to these rhymes
i hope that you’re laughing
i hope you're good and amused
but mostly
i hope that you're real
so i’m not just a madman
with chuckling nobodies
dancing in his skull
patting his back
telling him how funny and clever he is
